Zoning has been approved to bring 245 single-family homes, a commercial lot and about 127 acres of parkland to the city of Marble Falls, west of Austin. The city’s population grew modestly from 2010 2020, but the pandemic has inspired more people to seek out Hill Country homes, away from the urban core of Travis and Williamson counties.
