The 2023 list of commercial constructions companies tracks commercial and multifamily projects handled during 2022. All billings and project values reflect work handled by the Austin operations, although work can be performed anywhere. Listmakers this year report combined billings of $6.1 billion for 2022, with $4.1 billion of that work performed in the Austin area. The ABJ list is open to builders with a permanent office in the Austin area. Counties include Travis, Williamson, Hays, Bastrop, Burnet and Caldwell counties. Information was gathered through ABJ surveys submitted by company representatives. Only firms that responded to requests for information are included.
