In 2020, voters opted for $300 million in Project Connect tax revenue to go toward anti-displacement initiatives, and this marks the first phase of that funding. Project Connect will massively transform Austin over the next 13 years by ushering in a new era of mass transit, with more trains and buses, new transit hubs and two downtown subway stations.
