The development boom continues. The 2022 list of local commercial developers highlights the firms shaping the skyline of Austin and their recent endeavors. The list is ranked by square feet developed locally during 2021. Development activity outside the Austin area and upcoming projects are also mentioned on the list. When tracking s.f., ABJ categorizes developments according to office, industrial and retail. Subsets, such as medical office buildings and restaurants are included as office and retail respectively.
